Panels (Interior/Exterior)

Panels are made of 5052 aluminum alloy, considered to be "above water line marine alloy" which will deliver superior performance in architectural applications. All panels are pretreated with chrome phosphate (40mg square foot) in accordance with AAMA 2605-98 specifications, and primed with Duranar® epoxy primer - which will provide superior performance. (As in the 4000 hours of salt spray resistance required by AAMA 2605-98.) Epoxy resin (not polyester) is then used to create the specified design pattern, and the Panel is then coated with 99.9% pure Copper, Bronze, Brass or Aluminum. The next step is a polish and chemical coloring followed by secondary polishing. Panels can be left in a natural metallic form, waxed, or coated with PPG Megaflon top coat to prevent natural discoloration and oxidation. (Note: This is a simplified overview of the production process; please contact us for recommendations on specific applications.)

Doors

Cover panels to fit existing doors or complete doors can be produced to your design, shape, and size specification. For complete doors we like to use satin coat finish steel as the base substrate.

Frames

Steel or commercial Aluminum frame systems can be coated with Duranar® to match the metallic finish of the Doors and Panels. Acceptable color match approval/authorization is required prior to commencing the project.
